Tips for a successful interview

To follow up on last week’s blog, here are some tips to help you get through your next interview without being too aggressive.

- Be eager in an interview, and if you want to understand all of the opportunities, ask questions. Don’t say, “I want to do this” and preface your questions by saying that if you cannot do a specific activity immediately then you will be happy to take the required steps to get to that next level.

- Research your market value. There are plenty of places that can help give you a salary estimate for your level of experience. Know your value, communicate a reasonable salary range, and negotiate after you get the offer, if appropriate.

- Make sure your potential employer knows that you are a hard worker, willing to learn new things, and that you will do anything to get the job done.

If you follow these tips and do your research you should be able to ace that interview!
